Plan an Event Without Seeing the Venue

During this unprecedented time in our world, we are all having to find new ways to communicate and gather while being apart (i.e. Zoom meetings). Many of us are also going online to help alleviate cabin fever by searching our favorite destinations, or new ones, and perhaps even plan a little bit for future trips. We like to know that when we can travel again, we will be ready!

The travel and event industries have been particularly affected during this time of closed doors. Our guests can’t travel, and if they want to plan a party, it is hard to know when it will be safe to gather again. But we need to gather! We have marriages to celebrate, birthdays to acknowledge, and graduates to applaud. If we cannot hold these events now, we need to have choices to plan them for the future.

Virtual tours have been a growing trend in the travel industry, and there is no better time than now to take advantage of these tours. Besides the obvious benefit of allowing us to visit almost any place on the planet in the blink of an eye, virtual tours can also give you a view of places and spaces in your own locale. You can easily visualize the space and evaluate venues for future events – giving you a virtual “leg up” when you are ready to schedule a personal tour.

Mayne Stage will be adding a virtual tour to this website soon. Come and visit this beautiful art-deco theater in Rogers Park from the comfort of your laptop. If you have questions about the space and how it might work for you, let us know – we are happy to help you assess the space with floor plans and examples. Our phone line is still active, and we are currently scheduling on-site tours in June. Until then, stay tuned for a virtual tour of Mayne Stage!
