Mayne Stage is the perfect space for a wedding as unique and original as you. Our spacious stage and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems make you the star of the show. Bridal rooms are available to every couple, providing the ideal space to relax, get away and get ready prior to your ceremony or reception. Menus are available from some of the city’s most acclaimed and experienced wedding caterers. Check out some of our recommended caterers.

Our mixed space — with theatre, mezzanine, two bars and bridal rooms — is available separately or in combination to use how you want. The performance space can be used as a dining area, cleared while guests enjoy cocktails in the lounge and prepared for a party with a band or DJ and spacious dance floor.

We are following the City of Chicago and State of Illinois Phase 4 guidelines, which permit 50 people to gather.  Our guest limit of 30 allows for catering and event staff as well as for photographer, officiant, florist, etc. (Normal Mayne Stage capacity is 220 seated and 275 standing). This provides for safe and comfortable space between tables and food service – for you and your guests.   We require the wearing of masks during entry and when exiting the theater, and have hand sanitizer stations throughout the common areas. Mayne Stage is ready for you to visit for a tour, and for planning an event for this year or next!  We have pricing packages to fit into most budgets.  Please contact the Mayne Stage event team at 312-783-1182 for more information.

Micro Wedding

“Micro Weddings” are also on the rise at Mayne Stage.  This custom event can host up to 30 guests (normally 220 seated & 275 standing).  We ensure social distancing for ceremony seating as well as for dining and beverage service.  Our caterers can provide numerous dining and beverage options for this type of celebration.

This year we are seeing a surge of small wedding ceremonies, with just a few important people in attendance, an officiant and photographer. Our “minimony” couples are holding their ceremonies this year and planning their larger receptions for 2021. Your celebration could be the official marriage ceremony with photos and a toast, or you can add a brunch, luncheon, or small dinner party to follow.
