GRUPO CUMBE consists of the founding members of the Chicago Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble and Ngoma Alegre, the Midwest's only Afro Colombian percussion ensemble. Victor Garcia on Trumpet, Darwin Noguera on Piano, Josh Ramos on Bass, Leo Suarez on afro Colombian percussion/Gaita Flutes, Natalie Oliveri on vocals and minor percussion, and Jose Natal on Colombian percussion and congas.

THE OPPOSITION PARTY is a ten-piece Chicago musical collective, centered around performance of polyrhythmic music, particularly the cross-pollination of African music, Jamaican reggae and dub, and American funk and jazz. Heavy grooves and high-energy rhythms come alive in a catalog that features music from artists like Ethiopiques, Fela Kuti, Tony Allen, Thomas Mapfumo, Jackie Mittoo, and originals that stir up all these influences and bake them into something new.
