The Lawrence Peters Outfit
The Lawrence Peters Outfit is a scrappy honky tonk band from Chicago, boasting a mutt pedigree as long as any you’ll find in the city’s country music scene. The group’s sound is deep-rooted in generations of country music tradition, with debts owed to Webb Pierce, Jimmy Martin, Hank Williams Sr., Harlan Howard, Dwight Yoakam and Ola Belle Reed. Lawrence Peters sings and plays snare drum, leading the band through his finely crafted originals, and cherry-picked classics. The Outfit includes Matt Gandurski on lead guitar, Dave Sisson on rhythm guitar, and Josh Piet on upright bass. Their debut album What You Been Missin’ was released nationally on January 17th, 2012, and the Lawrence Peters Songbook was released a month later.

Split Lip Rayfield, hailing from Witchita, Kansas, has carved out their own genre of music with their unique sound and instrumentation. Often described as a mix of bluegrass and country with an accent of metal, no other band delivers the experience of the homemade gas-tank bass played by Jeff Eaton, sets the mandolin strings on fire like Wayne Gottstine, or makes the banjo sing like Eric Mardis. Together, they burn up speakers and stages alike providing an unforgettable experience. This is one trio not to miss!
